Description

Our Cane Backing is made from 100% vine cane that is specially woven to create a strong yet malleable sheet. It’s uses vary from chair backing and seating, to decorative panels on antique wardrobes and drawers.

Cane backing doesn’t just add a beautiful antique look to your furniture, it is also comfortable and conforms to shapes over time. Choose between keeping the natural look and feel of the cane or add a touch of high quality varnish to match it to your favourite piece of furniture.

Application:

Cane needs to be immersed in water for a minimum of 30 minutes or overnight before applying to the your furniture. Due to its nature, if not adequately moistened, cane backing may crack.
