Upholstery Vinyl, also known as synthetic leather is often used for furniture and motor trim. It is made of synthetic materials with a nylon backing and provides a durable and cost effective alternative to upholstery leather. The nylon backing allows for a one-way stretch which gives the material a better tensile strength and makes it easier to work with.

Available in a variety of thickness, colour and quality, upholstery vinyl is versatile and can be used for indoor and outdoor projects. Although it is a synthetic material, upholstery vinyl maintains a soft, subtle feel and comes in a variety of beautiful embossing and patterns. Due to its unique make up, synthetic leather is also found in many more vibrant colours than genuine leather. The possibilities with the right upholstery vinyl are endless.

• Use damp cloth and non-abrasive, mild cleaning agent like Dove Soap.
• Gently wipe any areas that are soiled.
• Do not use harsh detergents to clean.
• Do not use furniture wax
